SahihMuslim 591

Allahumma antas-Salam

You are Peace, and from You is peace

Recite ×1

Allahumma antas-Salam wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram.

O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honour.

SahihMuslim 591

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu

None can withhold what You give

Recite ×1

There is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no wealth or majesty avails anyone against You.

SahihBukhari 844, Muslim 593

Allahumma aʿinni ʿala dhikrik

Help me to remember and thank You

Recite ×1

Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik.

O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well.

Virtue

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Mu'adh never to leave this after every prayer.

SahihAbu Dawud 1522, Nasa'i 1303

SubhanAllah

Glory be to Allah

Recite ×33

Subhanallah.

Glory is to Allah.

Virtue

Whoever glorifies Allah thirty-three times, praises Him thirty-three times, and magnifies Him thirty-three times after each prayer, completing the hundred with the declaration of oneness, will have his sins forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea.

SahihMuslim 597

Alhamdulillah

All praise is for Allah

Recite ×33

Alhamdulillah.

All praise is for Allah.

SahihMuslim 597

Allahu akbar.

Allah is the Greatest.

SahihMuslim 597

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu

Completing the hundred

Recite ×1

There is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.

SahihMuslim 597

Ayat al-Kursi

The Verse of the Throne

Recite ×1

Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Virtue

Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing stands between him and entering Paradise except death.
